Today we would move to the city Cangas de Onis in Asturias and stayed 4 nights there.

On the way to Cangas de Onis from Riaño, the landscape was incredible beautiful. We stopped for many times just for enjoying the fantastic view. 

We stopped in a tourist office of Picos of Europe. We bought one bottle of Sidra and Sobao in one small shop.

We were in the zona of Picos of Europa already. 

Another charming village with river. 

Since there were no restaurants on the way, we ate the home-made bread we just bought in a small bakery in the region and with hams and cheeses we brought. 

We found Estacion de desovede Salmones (La Salmonera de Caño) by accident in Caño. Such a beautiful place.

​Finally, we arrived at our ​destination. Cangas de Onis is a bigger town than others in Asturias which has a lot of restaurantes, bars, shops and also supermarkets. It is a good hopping town for heading to the Picos de Europa National Park (Paque national de Picos de Europa). 

Must see:

Roman bridge

It is a very popular attraction. Some people were swimming in the river under the bridge.

We had the dinner in´El Abuelo´. We ordered ´Cachopo´ which is a typical dish characteristic of Asturian cuisine. It consists of two large fillets and includes ham and cheese, also one sidra. 

It was interesting that the restaurant used a grandfather shape machine for pouring Austurian Sidra from a higher place to the glass. 

Hotel:

Hotel Ciudad Cangas de Onis 4 stars

The room was fine and big. The only problem was that our room faced the street and it was noisy.
